TODAY'S WORD FOR Friday, December 20, 2019:
Completely prepared, prompt or quick in action; ready at any moment; immediately available.
For this reason, you must be ready, for Jesus is coming at an hour you do not expect.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
The events that are happening in our world today correlates clearly with what the Bible tells us what will happen before Jesus comes to receive believers in the air at the Rapture. The Bible also tells us that no man knows when this event will happen but it also tells us that when these things come to pass, look up because your redemption draws nigh.
Jesus warns us I Matthew 24:44 (Verse above), that we must be ready now because He can come at any moment. In John 14:1-6, Jesus told his disciples just before He left this earth and went to heaven after His resurrection. “Let not your heart be troubled; you need to trust God and also trust in Me. In My Fathers house there are many rooms; if this was not true, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you and I will come back again and will take you with Me so that you can be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Here is what we all must understand today: Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
All of the prophetic events in the Bible concerning what must happen before Jesus returns have taken place.
As parents and grandparents we have a Biblical responsibility to see that every member of our family, as well as our friends and neighbors, are given the opportunity to accept Jesus as their Savior and to clearly explain to them the plan of salvation so that they understand how they need to be ready because Jesus can come at any time.
That is why we ask you today -- “ARE YOU READY -- and -- HAVE YOU SHARED YOUR FAITH WITH YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS?
Our memory verse for this week is found in Proverbs 11:27.
He who earnestly seeks good finds favor, but trouble will come to him who seeks evil.
Help me to be ready and waiting for Jesus return. Give me a great and renewed burden today to share my faith to all that I associate with today. Keep me alert to respond to every door You open for me today to tell someone about the salvation You offer to them.
